Implementating #AOT to Fix the System #WebsiteWednesdays

implementing-laws(July 5, 2017) While the Treatment Advocacy Center has always focused on passing assisted outpatient treatment (AOT) laws, we are equally determined to help state and local mental health systems implement these laws to take full advantage of their life-saving potential. Within the 46 states and the District of Columbia that have AOT laws on the books, it is still not the routine and universally available practice it ought to be.

We encourage you to learn more. On our website you will find answers to AOT implementation frequently asked questions, as well as conversations with AOT practitioners and even documents and forms for AOT implementers. We also have experts with practical knowledge on implementing AOT in communities of every size and type; they are available to help with technical assistance.

If you are interested in learning how you can make AOT work in your community and advocate to implement it fully, sign up for our mailing list.
