(Apr. 19, 2017) The Treatment Advocacy Center established the Office of Research and Public Affairs (ORPA) in 2015 to address overlooked or underreported public policy issues involving serious mental illness.
Over the last two years, ORPA has produced a number of reports that have been cited across major news platforms and networks, including our most recent study, "A Crisis in Search of Data: The Revolving Door of Serious Mental Illness in Super Utilization." ORPA's reports have added fuel to the national conversation about serious mental health and helped shape the policy discussion resulting in in the 21st Century Cures Act.
